Bugzilla Pest Control, LLC is a veteran and woman-owned local pest control business. We are a small family business serving most of lower Michigan.
We offer affordable solutions for both indoor and outdoor pests, providing help with bats, rodents, bugs, mosquitoes, stinging insects, geese, nuisance wildlife and more!

Bugzilla's Personal Hygiene Pantry
As a community-minded small business, we want to help. We have set up a Personal Hygiene Pantry at our Durand office to offer items such as deodorant, toothbrushes, shampoo, feminine hygiene products and more.
Take what you need and leave what you can. Donations of unopened products are always welcomed.
Announcements
On August 30, 2025, a gas tanker truck drove into our building causing structural damage. Due to safety concerns, our new location is not open to the public currently.
Although we are unable to welcome you to our office at this time, our staff is still available to meet your pest control needs while repairs to our building are being made.

Brent is an outgoing and knowledgeable Pest Technician. He is a U.S. Navy Veteran and Co-Owner of Bugzilla Pest Control, LLC.
Born and raised in Durand, Michigan, Brent has a personal connection with Shiawassee County. After serving 8 years in the military, he returned to Michigan to serve the community as a Vernon Township Firefighter.

Born and raised in Durand, Michigan, Brent has a personal connection with Shiawassee County. After serving 8 years in the military, he returned to Michigan to serve the community as a Vernon Township Firefighter.
Brent started working in the pest industry after spending many years as a heavy-duty diesel mechanic. He went to work with a large Michigan-based pest control company and gained valuable experience eliminating bed bugs. Wanting to broaden his knowledge, he moved to a nationwide company, where realized a need for a more affordable solution.
With Bugzilla Pest Control, Brent uses his knowledge helping others deal with pests without breaking the bank. One of his favorite pests to eliminate are bed bugs, but he also enjoys dealing with nuisance wildlife. He has been given the nickname of "Skunk Whisperer" by many who have seen his interactions with these creatures.
In his spare time, Brent enjoys spending time with his wife, Missy, riding his motorcycle, camping, helping others in need, and cooking.

As an introvert, she prefers to do the behind-the-scenes work, while supporting her extroverted "bug guy" in the day-to-day operations. Customers may not interact with her on a regular basis, but she is there making sure the company runs smoothly.
Missy is passionate about helping those in need. She is always looking for ways to give back to others and currently runs Bugzilla's Personal Hygiene Pantry at our Durand location. As an R.N. in a leadership role with Bugzilla, she is concerned with the health and safety of our employees in the field. She makes sure the technicians have access to personal protective equipment (PPE) and educates the staff about what illnesses can happen when pests are left unchecked.
When not working, Missy loves to spend time with family, study the Torah, sing, and learn Yiddish and Hebrew. In the warmer months, you will find her at the lake, camping with Brent, or riding her motorcycle.

We recently had a problem with yellow jackets. It was more like an infestation. My husband had killed over 30 in our basement. I was looking for someone who seemed knowledgeable and trustworthy. Brent was both of these things! He was able to service our house the same day we called. And for a very reasonable price! He was very personable and responsive. I appreciate how timely he was. So far it seems our yellow jacket infestation is fixed! I’ve already recommended him to multiple people I know. We will definitely have him back to service our home going forward. I can’t recommend him enough!

Bugzilla came to our home when we had initial signs of bed bugs. They offered a free inspection. After inspecting our home, they determined that no action was required at the time.
Bugzilla discussed possible alternative explanations, as well as tips on monitoring, and what not to do.

I think they do a great job and are very punctual. Reasonable rates. We have them for your basic home and exterior. Mainly ants. Then for mosquitoes.

ONE THOUSAND STARS IF I COULD! First off in my entire life I have never seen a tick! This is our first summer at our new home and everytime we went outside at least one of us would come in with a tick or a couple. We had tons of wasps and spider swarming our home as well. We called Bugzilla and they came out did their thing, he said it might take a bit to notice but I noticed immediately! NO more ticks, NO more spider, NO more wasps and bonus no mosquito's!! They are super affordable and their friendliness is priceless! Brent took his time to answer any questions and concerns. One of my favorite parts about his is he made sure my pets were safe and was very informative!! Look forward to having them back when it's time

Brent was very efficient and professional taking care of the inside and outside of our house (we had Bugzilla spray for bugs as we get bombarded with big nasty ants & spiders every spring). Every time I stepped outside my house I was attacked by an army of mosquitoes. Mowing my lawn and spending any amount of time on my patio left me with dozens of battle wounds. Brent came out and gave my house a mosquito treatment and it was the first time I could take my dogs outside without being attacked.
